Our garni, in the heart of Alta Badia

Welcome to the Garni l'Alpina, a cosy bed and breakfast in Corvara in Alta Badia. A house with rooms and apartments that enjoys a privileged position directly on the Boè slope and the Costes da l'Ega lift. The pine forest of Corvara and its playground are right on the doorstep, while you can walk directly from the house along the paths that lead to the neighboring villages, Colfosco and La Villa or to the main peaks of the valley.

Here you will find the typical Ladin hospitality and, to make you feel at home, in the afternoon we will offer you a wide choice of herbal teas and homemade desserts. In the morning let yourself be tempted by the abundant sweet and savory breakfast based on typical products of local farmers. Ideal for a day full of activities.

Rooms and apartments: living solutions for all needs

In the Garni L'Alpina the traditional Tyrolean style is combined with the functionality of rustic furnishings and technology. The property has 4 double rooms and two apartments that can accommodate 2 to 3 people. The rooms overlook panoramic balconies and are equipped with satellite TV, bathroom with toilet, shower and hairdryer. The two apartments, both two-room apartments, are located on the ground floor and first floor. They consist of a bedroom, living room-kitchen with satellite TV and a fully equipped kitchenette. The bathroom is equipped with toilet, shower, hairdryer and a complete toiletry kit.

The Garni L'Alpina in Corvara joins the Dolomiti Superski promotions: Dolomiti Super Première, the Ski Start offer and Dolomiti Super Sun, the spring ski promotion. We also take part of the summer project Bike-Hike Alta Badia, which offers guided tours with road bikes, mountain bikes, e-bikes, hiking and Nordic walking.

The prices are indicated for rooms per person per day and for apartments per apartment per day (standard occupation). The prices are different for stays in season or in off-season.

The prices include:
VAT, outdoor parking, daily cleaning of rooms/apartament and bathroom, bed linen with weekly change, towels with mid-week change, Wi-Fi connection, ski/bike storage with boot dryer.

To the indicated prices will be added the local tourist tax of € 1,40 per person aged over 14 and per day.

Supplements:

  • we also accept small 4-pawed friends for an extra cost of € 8,00 per day.

Reservation and cancellation:
When confirming your reservation, we ask you to pay a deposit of € 200,00 per week within the following 6 days. The reservation is considered final only after payment of the required deposit. If the deposit is not paid within the mentioned terms, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation by tacit agreement. The deposit can be paid by bank transfer to:

We do not accept credit cards for payment at this time.

Cancellation policy:
Stay in season (approx. June - September; December - April).
In case of cancellation of the reservation, within the following terms, you are entitled to a full refund of the deposit:

  • Summer season: the 1st of May
  • Winter season: 15th September

In case of cancellation of the reservation after the 1st of May for the summer season and after the 15th of September for the winter season, the guest has the right to postpone the reservation to the current season, otherwise the outstanding amount of 80% of the stay will be due.

Stay off-season (approx. May, October and November)
In case of cancellation of the reservation after 15 days from our written confirmation, the deposit will not be returned.

Covid-19:
In case of closure of regions or borders, quarantine of us owner or the guest, the deposit will be fully returned.

Travel Insurance:
We recommend you to contact your insurance company and insure your journey against cancellation, early termination or late arrival.

Arrivals and departures:

  • Check-in: from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (after 8:00 p.m. by request only);
  • Check-out: within 10:00 a.m.

No smoking:
Smoking is not allowed in our house.

Furniture:
We ask our guests to take good care of the high quality furniture and the fine textiles of our house. Any damage to the property or its appliances will be charged.

Winter

Corvara is one of the cult places of winter tourism. The 130 km slopes of the Alta Badia ski area, central core of the Dolomiti Superski, are the object of desire of many skiers. By accessing the nearby Boé cable car and the Costes da l'Ega lift on foot, you can enjoy wonderful tours such as the Sellaronda or the Great War tour. You will ski on the slopes of Sass dla Crusc and Lagazuoi, on slopes of all difficulties. And you can embark on off-piste adventures among the peaks of the Dolomites and snowshoeing among snow-laden trees, in the magical silence of the woods in the company of the ski instructor and guide Manuel Agreiter.
